 I am amazed that this is even in question. Inline styling should
 definitely be removed. WordPress by default should '''only''' output
 standards compliant code. I really hope that 3.4 addresses media handling
 and the gallery shortcode. It is way past time. I am so grateful for
 Chip's voice of reason in all of this.

 For those worried that it would break older themes, we have to move ahead
 at some point. Standards compliance really is the way forward. I remember
 a lot of similar arguments about css vs table layout just a few years ago.
