 I echoed the verbose example of the generator code right above that
 section.  It also returns a meta tag.  If we do add a meta type, we should
 adjust that code too.

 It should be noted that you can get at the text/raw data through bloginfo
 with both patches (or through get_option() or by adding a custom filter to
 your them for the custom type).
