 You're right.  I could definitely see this new terminology as confusing
 for developers.

 But what about the average user?  Who uses the phrase "Front page"
 anymore?  It's like this setting got lost in the late-nineties ;-)

 If we're talking solely about what is best for the average user, I'd vote
 to make the swap to "home page" and for the time being let developers
 figure it out (with the hope that we could formalize better terminology
 down the line).

 With that said, I'd rather not throw the baby out with the bath water on
 this one.  If changing "front page" to "home page" is a true blocker,
 let's just keep it as "front page" and get the inline "Create a new page"
 functionality committed.
