 While writing tests ([UT554]) for `wp.getPost`, I encountered the date
 issues from #19733. I created a new helper method to fix this for the new
 `wp.*` post methods.

 This helper method could be used by the legacy methods without side
 effects, but I left that out of the patch for now pending feedback.
