 Wouldn't it be a lot cleaner (and easier for plugin authors) if there is a
 param to pass some extra css that defines the icons/backgrounds instead of
 forcing them to create sprites with exact dimensions and icon positions?
 Also the css could include some other tweaks for the screen, menu,
 toolbar, etc.
