 This should be fixed on the import side in 0.5.2. The plugin checks that
 the file exists before proceeding. See
 http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/504381/wordpress-importer.

 Closing as a duplicate of #19800 still to be fixed in WP core.
