[attachment:22913.diff] is an untested patch, but implements skipping
including compression methods in the Accept-Encoding header when saving to
file.
This should prevent web servers (& proxy servers) from returning a
compressed document.
@samthorne: Any chance of you trying out that patch?
(Also, This patch implements #20142 as well - allowing developers to
specify their own Accept-Encoding headers)
