Importer I wrote/am running on my site, I opted for asides. The problem is
that cogent arguments can be made for both, since it largely depends (I
think) on how the individual is using Twitter.
I don't particularly want to have that debate. Mostly because I could
easily argue either side. A filter is a given and I don't care which is
the default. I chose status because I think more people use Twitter that
way, not because it's how I use it. I think the question is: '''Is there a
good enough argument for actually adding an option and allowing the user
to choose?'''
