 22790.patch​ fixes the regression. It still doesn't preserve the <object>
 exactly but that's how it works in 3.4 and earlier. It's worth it
 extending/modifying the 'media' plugin for TinyMCE by adding an option
 there to fully preserve the <object> tags.
