 A few additional thoughts on the latest version:

 1) This version omits the default radio button for "Your latest posts".
 I'd be in favor of leaving it in, as I think it helps newer users
 understand the difference between the two settings.  Thoughts?

 2) The post page is now set by entering a slug, rather than a page title.
 This definitely makes more sense, BUT if we're still going to list the
 page_for_posts page under Pages, then the title will matter, and trying to
 automatically convert the slug to a title might not be the best option. If
 we can get to a point where we're no longer displaying it as a "Page",
 however, then I think this solution works.  It's just a matter of knowing
 how/when that will change.
