 I think this is more appropriate to the Support forums.

 If you're using the Domain Mapping plugin, it dynamically does that for
 you. You shouldn't be (and don't have to) mess with siteURLs etc on the
 backend. Just map the domain, install the plugin, check the box to
 redirect wp-admin to mappeddomain.com and off you go.

 Works.

 I have halfelf.org mapped like that and I use halfelf.org/wp-admin just
 fine.
