Comment:

 Uploaded attachment:12706.diff which ports the existing patch forward to
 work with trunk (20434).

 Also fixed a few bugs, and in the process, created a new
 `get_object_stati()` function (mirrored off of `get_object_taxonomies()`)
 to deal with `wp_list_filter` not liking nested arrays (specifically the
 `object_type` arg).

 Still testing, and I'm sure there's stuff I missed, but worksforme.
