Comment:

 This is related to how the wpeditimage plugin for TinyMCE currently works.
 It was originally written to support images, not other "stuff" in the
 media library or a generic for other things.  I use it as a container for
 the flowplayer shorttag.

 The first half of the problem is to stop the plugin from stripping the
 caption tag unnecessarily when switching from HTML to Visual mode.

 "my-patch.diff" fixes that part of the issue.
