Comment (by johnbillion):

 1. The filter name for pointers should definitely be changed to
 `show_wp_pointer` with the pointer name as a parameter (instead of
 `show_wp_pointer_admin_bar` as in the current patch).
 2. Can we use 'p-{pointer}' (ie. 'p-admin_bar') as the user setting name
 instead of 'p0'? This'll make them more extensible.
 3. Are there plans to introduce some nice API methods so plugins/themes
 can add pointers?
