 Another pass, fixes:
 - context passed to `user_trailingslashit` everywhere
 - removed use of `setup_postdata` for a simple count
 - fixed links for paginated pages on the frontpage (they need to include
 /page/)
 - passed author_name to `get_author_posts_url` to simplify the process of
 getting that URL

 Naming of functions probably needs to be discussed....
