 I like the idea of (A/B-) testing this, but otherwise, I agree, wontfix.

 Changing this at the moment will throw everyone off, all for the
 occasional super long comment. Most people are reading the comment and
 then taking action on it, as Jane said. Would rather not change something
 that's worked for the most part.
