 Personally, I think this change is taking a step back in usability. The
 cons far outweigh the pros here.  [http://particletree.com/features
 /visualizing-fittss-law/ Fitts' law] comes to mind.

 Most of my complaints can be [http://uxmovement.com/navigation/why-hover-
 menus-do-users-more-harm-than-good/ summed up here], but the gist is that
 I think hovers will make the admin less usable and less friendly.
