Hi there,
let me explain the following scenario: I create a tag in WordPress and the
tag contains comma character ",". The reason for this can be that it is
for example a name of the product (book). I create this new tag in Tags
administration.
Then, when I make a new post and input this tag into the tags for the
post, it gets separated into two (or more) separate (new) tags on the
comma chars. It is not possible to add the tag to the post.
I would recommend, if user is adding tags to a post, he inserts something
that contains commas, it would be first checked against existing tags,
whether there such a tag containing a comma. If yes, the tag that contains
the comma would be used. Only if not, it would get slit into separate
tags.
