Comment:

 I've gone back and forth on whether or not priorities would be a useful
 addition to the admin bar API. As it stands, priorities are currently too
 significant of a change to add to 3.3.

 linuxologos is correct in ticket:19380:comment:2. For 3.3, developers
 should use priorities on the {{{admin_bar_menu}}} action to sort the admin
 bar items.
