 I couldn't replicate these results.  I am testing on Win7-64 and have
 tested under the following browsers:

  * IE 7
  * IE 8
  * IE 9
  * FF 3.6
  * FF 8
  * Safari 5
  * Opera 11
  * Chrome 15

 In each one, the pointer was, more or less, at the mid-line of the icon.

 I tested with all plugins disabled, with the nav bar collapsed and
 uncollapsed, and with SCRIPT_DEBUG enabled and disabled.  I could not
 reproduce the same results.
