#19334: Unclear direction for Facebook & Twitter links in profile

Quite simply, I'd like there to be a bit of info text that tells the user
what type of link is expected for the likes of Facebook and Twitter in the
user's profile.
This became an issue when I had entered a full link like
http://twitter.com/wordpress, which worked on my main theme, but on my
sub-site running FaultPress from WooThemes, it was assumed that these
links were mere usernames, i.e. just 'wordpress', and the preceding
twitter URL would be added, creating a broken link due to duplication.
Maybe WooThemes went against standards, but it was unclear to me if they
were because nowhere on the profile page does it way what it actually
expects.
