 the widgets, i.e. widgets that were added by dragging them to a sidebar,
 will currently end up in Inactive.

 This seems like the exact opposite of the original intent (don't lose
 widgets when changing themes). If I used a new theme for two weeks and
 then changed back b/c I didn't like it, losing (to Inactive) all the
 widgets I've added/messed with in the past two weeks  would really freak
 me out. I'm officially registering (again) my discomfort with how this
 feature was added, for the record.
