 If you create a new post of any type (post, page, cpt), don't fill out
 anything and click "Publish," you will get back a success message "Post
 published" or "Page published" depending on the post type. However, the
 post will be saved as an Auto Draft, and won't be found on the front end
 ever again after you leave that page. Click "View page" in the success
 message and you will be sent to a 404.
