 Replying to [ticket:19208 jane]:

 pops up the plugin info lightbox, but not on the changelog tab, which
 would be ideal.
 +1.

 We are always switching to Changelog tab immediately, because that's what
 matters for an update.

 If the default tab being displayed is not to be touched
 ([attachment:19208.patch]), then the links which prompt for an update
 could be changed individually ([attachment:19208.2.patch]).
