 With the new patch you can just pass the `'followlocation'` argument and
 setting it to `false` which will the cUrl transport prevent following any
 location headers. The according libcurl option is
 [http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/c/curl_easy_setopt.html#CURLOPTFOLLOWLOCATION
 CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION].
