 This would be better suited to the support forums, specifically, the
 [http://wordpress.org/support/forum/themes-and-templates themes and
 templates] support forum.

 If you can duplicate it with the WordPress default theme, please re-open
 with details, however this sounds like a theme coding issue, potentially
 related to functions returning/echo'ing, and possibly the applied filters.
 Trac is not the location for debugging things, so try the support forum or
 mailing lists and come back and re-open this if a problem is tracked back
 to WordPress.
