 I noticed the need for this first time when upgrading an old MU with few
 hundred blogs and some of them were corrupted. The upgrading hanged and I
 could not find anyghing wrong with the one displayed.

 Then I noticed that the nlog was corrupted and had no settings, so the
 upgrading printed empty name. It should output at least the ID what it is
 updating.

 Also flushing the output buffer makes the admin to see what is happening,
 otherwise the lines are only printed when the batch is done.

 Patch included.
