Comment:

 I want to second vdhamer and others' urgings to escalate this in priority.
 I've wasted hours doggedly trying to update a menu structure and watching
 it crash 9 times out of 10.  My menu now has 43 items and I'll need about
 70 before I'm done with the site, and it just isn't possible in WP, the
 way it stands.  And in the process I've had major parts of the menu get
 wiped out and have to be rebuilt, so that the table is probably full of
 garbage now.  Please, if WP is going to be useful for more complex sites,
 do something!  Thank you!
