 This can be seen on a default install by logging in as lower privileges
 than administrator and visiting "Profile" or "Tools". Note how you see the
 full colour icon on hover, but not whilst that menu is active.

 This has already been taken care of for the Comments and Dashboard menu
 items.

 Should we add the .current rule for all menus in the event of plugins
 removing submenus? (not tested what happens in this situation so it might
 not be a problem)
