 language mean one thing for images with exif data and another thing for
 everyone else. Given that we're already going to be up to our ears in UI

 It doesn't though.

 There is a very specific bug here with how the UI represents the
 underlying functionality and a lot of discussion around enhancements that
 are covered by a different ticket.

 The focus of fixing the bugs in this ticket relate to the fact that we
 have a UI option for sort by "Date" and we do a sort by "UI" which is
 confusing and unnecessary.
