 Seems reasonable.

 Could you open a [http://unit-tests.trac.wordpress.org/ Unit Test trac
 ticket] and attach some tests for the new code - some for the
 functionality of get_template_part (we can add another dummy theme to the
 unit tests for this) and for the functionality of
 {{{remove_dot_segments}}}
