Comment:

 I have been thinking about this, and I don't understand why this doesn't
 function like the Internal Linking feature. When writing a post or page,
 you can select the text and click the link feature. The dialog displays
 all content, and you are able to filter it as needed. There is no reason
 for the Media Attacher to not be the same. It should show all content and
 allow you to filter it as needed. This is the reason why I assumed it did
 not work. It works differently in another part of WordPress.

 I think that the functionality between the linking and the attaching
 functions should be the same. I will change this to an enhancement.
