 A few comments:

  * This code doesn't follow our Coding Standards -
 http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Coding_Standards
  * Would you be willing to make it available under the same license as
 WordPress ? i.e GPL2 or later
  * How much of a performance hit is this going to be on every query - have
 you done any profiling on the time it takes on large posts?
