Comment:

 This is the expected behaviour.

 You can pass a `NULL` parameter in as the version to prevent any version
 number being printed. See the
 [http://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/trunk/wp-includes/functions.wp-
 scripts.php#L37 documentation] for this.
