 I closed http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-performance-gettext-patch/
 for download as it applies a patch to core, which is dangerous and an all-
 around bad idea. Its source is still viewable and accessible
 [http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/wp-performance-gettext-patch/ in SVN].
