Comment:

 This does not appear to be a duplicate of #15367, but it is rather caused
 by a new TinyMCE bug you can [http://fiddle.tinymce.com/89aaab see in this
 fiddle]. I walked through editor.dev.js in a debugger to verify it's
 handling the markup correctly.

 I'm reporting it to TinyMCE now, but I think this will certainly cause
 problems for up-to-date WP users in the meantime.
