Comment:

 The two suggestions on #10726 should be discussed on that ticket. This
 ticket simply suggests removing the email address from general settings.
 However, that doesn't solve the issue of potential confusion of which
 addresses are used for which email communications. Removing this address
 is not something I'm up for doing, at least right now.  We could make the
 language clearer about what this address is for, but just removing it --
 while it might seem like it would solve one problem -- would cause
 additional problems.
