 Couldn't reproduce any thumbnail/size issues with your photo on my install
 (checked 3.2.1 and 3.3-trunk).

 I could, however, reproduce the broken encoding in the description field.
 There's already a ticket for that: #9417, and the latest patch is still
 good for 3.3-trunk.
