Then why the systematic and purposeful discrimination and shafting of
those interested in feature development? At least I have tried to produce
a draft patch to prove this concept is possible. Unfortunately, people
like you come and tell us that we can not and must not attempt to improve
WordPress "by design". A bit of tolerance and understanding to make room
for improvement would be much appreciated here.
