to WordPress for that.
Please see comments 3 and 6 above for the rationale that is being
discussed here. Root-relative URLs will make WordPress a more robust and
compatible piece of software, but those of us interested in feature
development who are trying to fix it here keep bumping into uncooperative
responses or are being shafted and ignored.
