Comment:

 I didn't intend to close this ticket -- I had searched for my comment
 (that turns out to be above), opened the ticket in a new window, and
 referenced the ticket above. I didn't realize they were the same ticket
 until I posted. Yeah, been a long day.

 That said, this is a deliberate design decision. We don't have any plans
 to change this.
