 Whoops, messed the first patch up. Updated.

 A template can also specify multiple post types it can be used for:

 {{{
 /*
  * Template Name: Amazing Template
  * Template Type: post, page, event
  */

 }}}

 The 'Amazing Template' would be available to select for all posts, pages
 and events.
