 This bug is serious.  It should be renamed "wordpress randomly gobbles
 your post if you use lots of shortcodes" or "shortcodes are useless if you
 need more than a few in a post".

 I ran into it on a relatively short post (6600 bytes) that contained 16
 shortcodes where the start of the post content was a shortcode expression.
