 @scribu: Your patch(refreshed) but just a minor change, I have moved
 {{{$this->meta_query = new WP_Meta_Query(); }}} to
 {{{WP_Query::query();}}} to avoid fatal errors when directly calling
 {{{WP_Query->query();}}} See #17118
