 wordpress-importer trunk r304267 no longer accepts gzipped WXR files.

 This is a regression from the current wordpress-importer importer, v0.2 .

 Relates to #15197  "WXR export/import umbrella ticket"

 I notice that same error message "There was an error when reading this WXR
 file" is in two parts of the source. It might be better to make each error
 message more unique and add additional details.
