I don't see where else we have it, but I could be missing it. I've been
asking in this ticket and on IRC all week trying to get someone to weigh
in on that. It was my understanding that we were now keeping up Simple
Pie ourselves (I though that's what happened after the
[http://wpdevel.wordpress.com/2009/09/24/suggest-agenda-items-for-oct-1st-
dev-cha/ 2010-10-01 dev meeting]).
Since I thought we were maintaining it, I thought it would be nice to
reduce our codebase by better integrating it with WP. However, if it's
still an external package, would it make more sense to add that function
to formatting.php WITHOUT removing it from simplepie? IT would accomplish
the same thing, it just wouldn't shrink simplepie by 100+ lines.
