 What is that bugs you in that message?  Is it the “otherwise” and the
 comma before a clause that is independent?

 ''To reset your password visit the following address, otherwise just
 ignore this email and nothing will happen.''

 Here is the fix then:

 ''To reset your password visit the following address. Or just ignore this
 email and nothing will happen.''

 No need to add all that other stuff.

 But if we start nitpicking like this, we will have to change half of the
 strings in core.
