 This should do what you want.

 Also: I believe there was a bug...

 1. Make lots of menus
 2. Resize small
 3. Scroll right lots
 4. Maximize

 The bug is that the arrows disappear (good) but the menu remained scrolled
 and therefore half visible even when maximized. Fixed that.
