 The spec if more than defining a name.  It will define where certain
 things should be stored and provide guidelines for presentation.  Non-
 standard formats would have to use a prefix to avoid stomping a future
 standard format which may differ in spec.  In that case, you might as well
 use your own taxonomy or postmeta, which is trivial to do as evidenced by
 the post format wrappers.
