#13616: OOM Errors
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
 Reporter: MichaelRSL | Owner:
Type: defect (bug) | Status: new
 Priority: high | Milestone: 3.0
Component: General | Version: 3.0
 Severity: normal | Keywords: RC1
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
Since the installation of WordPress 3.0 RC1 we've been receiving OOM
Errors non-stop, such as the one below:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 23592960) (tried to allocate 491520
bytes) in /home/*user*/public_html/wp-admin/menu.php on line 241.

It is a recurring error that we've found across all installations on our
servers running Apache 2, PHP 5.3.x and MySQL 5.x. We're using CloudLinux
(similar to CentOS 5.x) with xCache 1.3.x, SuPHP and Suhosin enabled.

We've tried disabling all plug-in's, xCache and resorting to a base
recompile with just Apache, PHP and MySQL (no additional modules), though
to no end, we still receive these errors.

The server is showing that there's plenty of free RAM and there's 64MB
allowed for PHP to run (up from the original 32MB). We've modified Apache
to allow for 150MB as well.

When we were running the Beta 2 release, we did not receive these errors
and now we're running into all sorts of errors including issues with our
new theme (which is based off the new WordPress theme 2010).

If any other information is required, please feel free to e-mail me at
admin at resellr.net as we need to sort this out for both our installation as
 well as our customers.
